The Federal Supreme Court’s role in Iraq’s slide into authoritarianism
The Iraqi Constitutional Court is, in principle, the guarantor of the effectiveness of the country s constitutional system. However, if it is instrumentalized for political purposes, it can prove dangerous for the survival of the Iraqi political system.
